NASP National Tournament Information.

All three teams have been entered into the NASP National Tournament to be held at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville Kentucky.
The flight times and locations are as follows.

  • Elementary School - 10:30am Thursday May 12th in the South Wing
  • Middle and High Schools - 11:45am Thursday May 12th in the South Wing

Teams must be there to check-in 1 hour before you shoot. Drive time from Fairview to the Expo center is 4.5 hours without traffic. If you need hotel information see below. Louisville is on Eastern Time (same as us). Archers using club bows need to take them down with them.

Parking: $8 per entry for cars and $20 for buses (an in/out pass/day is $12/car)

Admission – Adults $10, Youth 13-18 $5, and 12 and under is free.  Keep entry wrist strap because admission covers all 3 days of event. (Registered archers & coaches are free.)

Food & Beverage sold on site -- KEC does not allow carry in or coolers inside building.

Registration fee: $35/archer (3 coaches free) - paid on-line when registering

New Saturday practice times.

Please note that the Saturday practice times for MS/HS is now from 9am-10am ONLY. This will be the schedule from now until the National Tournament in May.

Shooters do well at Whitko Invitational

 

Here are the results from the Fairview Archery Club shooting at the 4 state Inaugural Whitko invitational in Larwill, IN. Teams competed from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Illinois.

Top honor goes to Asher Viers (291) who was the highest scoring boy of the tournament and 1st Freshman boy. Also in high school, Linzi Graber (286) placed 3rd overall girl and second place Freshmen girl.

Elementary results included Sierra Watson (260) who placed first in 4th Grade girls and 2nd in Elementary Girls. Caitlin Fedderke (259) 2nd in 5th Grade and 3rd in Elementary Girls.

In the middle school Ryan Richards (276) was 1st in 7th Grade boys and 4th overall middle school

Fairview’s team placed fourth at the tournament with a score of 3264 they were bested by teams from Illinois, Indiana and Michigan but were only 25 points from first place.

Well done all archers who made the 90 minute trip to Whitko.

Middle School Team Gets Third at State!

Congratulations to the Fairview Middle School team for bringing home a 3rd place trophy from the State Tournament last weekend in Columbus.
The team scored a combined score of 3249. Many personal best scores on the day including Trevor McMahon (281) who ranked 3rd in 8th Grade and Brooke Phillips (277) who ranked 9th in 6th Grade and Karlee Reed (276) who ranked 3rd in 7th Grade Girls and Levi Sudholtz who ranked 9th in 6th Grade Boys.

In the Elementary team, Jackson Grine (272) was 4th in Elementary Boys and 3rd in 5th Grade Boys and Caytlin Fedderke (263) was 7th in Elementary School Girls and 5th in 5th Grade Girls and Sierra Watson (253) was 4th in 4th Grade girls.

Top scorers for Fairview were Linzi Graber and Baylee Grine  who both tied with a score of 286. They placed tied for second place for 9th Grade Girls. Asher Viers ranked 6th in 9th Grade Boys and Josh Mansel-Pleydell ranked 9th in 11th Grade Boys.
